Ok yes listening to band songs calms me down, something I really need right now. Thanks to fann's abba gold on her blog, and youtube for providing the music man, and into the joy of spring. And yes talking to people helps. So I should just describe band prac today.
Band prac without janine and me being the oldest in the section is definitely weird. I am just not used to giving instructions especially in sectionals. But the only comfort is knowing that I can shush my section up. Eh, not that Im doing a very good job out of it:/ It's like we're naturally the noisy section. Did the usual warming up, and did abba gold. Those complicated rhythms! Had us really lost and Mr De Souza predicted that we'll stop at bar 5. Haha we exceeded his expectations..by 2 bars gee:D Then had sectionals. Goshhhh. But I like the music man, cos it's like half the song dedicated to "76 trombones"! OMG and leanne made me fall in love with into the joy of spring I swear! I love the running notes too much and we were playing it over and over again. haha why can't it be our SYF piece? PLEASE?:D
Ps The Host is the greatest book man. Actually Stephenie Meyer is just a genius she should write more books like that. Can't wait for midnight sun! & someone get me the daniel powter album for my birthday! Im in love with his songs;D
