I want YPSB practises to go on forever): I felt so apprehensive on my first YPSB practise, I didn't know anyone, and I only talked and stuck to scgs sec 2s and janine. As I attended more and more practises, I got to know them better. Like Cassandra.(: She's the first person I talked to in my section, and it was cool. Yesterday was our rehearsal and performance at victoria concert hall. I knew it was the end of YPSB, and I was sad. DAMN SAD.): I played my best during the concert, I looked at Mr Shuichi Komiyama as often as possible, eyes keeping to his conducting. I attempted the high notes, especially high G. I did it. The symphonic band did well, well, WELL! I was SO proud of the band. After the performance we took section photo. I'll miss all of them terribly.): No offence, but. I really thought that practising with the symphonic band is funner and better than practising at scgs for normal practise. We learn more stuff during YPSB prac, we learn from other schools, their culture, their way of playing. Sigh. Guess it's back to the old times of teaching the sec 1s, and sectionals with janine. 2 ppl sectionals.):
I want to thank everyone from scgs who came for the ypsb concert. Lyeann, Cheryl, Priscilla, Samy, Wenhui, Isabel.(: Love yaaaa!
Somehow, the concert totally eclipsed our handover. Though they were on the same day and of equal importance. Handover was like, 2hrs? We didnt even have section outing. Just some really long speech by Mrs Neo..and the ceremony, and then a quick exchange of presents and lunch. Thereafter we went straight to vch. But I love wenting and wenhui's presents. Wenting-cup with stuff inside, and a note. Wenhui-cushion and a note with sweets which my brother koped from me. ==Ok.
P.S plus, handover and the concert TOTALLY eclipsed the national day celebration in the morning. Oh but can't forget the performance by the Harvard Institution of Din and Tonic who came to our school to sing.;D They're all undergraduates! With great voices.
[edit] OOH forgot to post this. Went to watch Journey to the centre of the earth with pri sch friends and it's really nice. Scary at some parts yet touching. Haha really wanted to watch money no enough but dorcas has alrd watched it. Ohwell.[/edit]
