Hafta chiong out my hw today--3 twelfth night logs, yueji and mpp. Argh.

So anyway today's the last day of elective module. For aroma chemistry we made our own perfumes and soap today. The soap was disastrous cos we cant even shape the material. Just kept crumbling like cookies which was so frigging irritatinggg. In the end managed to make a body for a 'snowman' while lyeann made the head for it. And all the crumbles served as comet trails. Looked quite nice but was nothing compared to some of the girls works. Like the one seating behind us..made a pretty blue star which looked like it was made out of a totally different material from ours. AHH pathetic.

But making the perfume was fun! Me and Lyeann paired up of course and began to deskin the limes and redeskin the orange skins lol. And exchanged some skin with pandan leaves. Then poured the whole thing down into a conical flask and shook it to mix the smell. Then Ms Yinyin added ethanol into the mixture and that was our perfume. Cooleh! Then made other perfumes with oils like lavendar, chamomile, rose, citronella, lemon grass, white musk, vanilla, peppermint, jasmine...and so on. Did the top note, medium note, and base note for our perfume. LOL you prolly dunno what Im talking about but nvm. So got our perfume mixture, added ethanol again. Haha was squirting our orange, lime and pandan perfume at lyeann. Smells sickly sweet actually cos of the pandan leaves. But usable(:
